DescriptionTri-Clamp hopstrainers allows the filtration and flavorization of any liquids. The welded tri-clamp connection allows a quick assembly or disassembly of the whole system and make it easy to use. There are two types to use this hopstrainer:➜ The use as a normal hopstrainer enables wort and other liquids to be filtered. For this purpose, the liquid to be filtered is fed into the strainer and then filtered through the stainless steel mesh. Depending on the mesh of the filter, the result is a clear liquid and a dirty hopstrainer, which can then be cleaned under the waterfaucet. (Diagram, top illustration) ➜ Used as a hop-rocket, the strainer can additionally flavor the finished beer. For this, the filter candle of the strainer is filled with pelles or hop leaves and then the young beer is passed through. The hops remain in the filter mesh and the beer gains additional taste due to the cold hop. This application is possible by transfer from one keg tot he other keg or for direct tapping. (Diagram, bottom illustration) ➜ In order to be able to use the full filter performance, the use of an additional filter mesh is required. By default, this hopstrainer is delivered with a filter mesh with a #150mesh.
